As a locally owned beer tour operator, our goal is to take you to more breweries than any other tour operator in the Twin Cities. This means we’ll do all the planning and driving, so you can sit back and enjoy more deliciously crafted beer from a diverse selection of microbrewers throughout the Metro.
No brewery tour is complete without an expert on the local microbrewing scene, which is why each one of our tours is led by a professional guide, who’s there to answer your questions and help tailor tastings to suit the savory flavors you enjoy.
Depending on your taste preference, group size, and appetite for adventure, you have the option of customizing your Hoppy Trolley tour to hit more of the places you love! We call this our variety tour package, which allows you to mix up your brewery stops with a cider tour, distillery tour, or a combination of both. The choice is up to you!

Our experienced tour guides share historic and fun information about the Twin Cities, its neighborhoods, and its growing reputation for creating some of the nation’s best craft beers. Each tour bus includes comfortable seating for 14, as well as travel coolers, so you can store growlers, beer cases, and food conveniently for the ride.
When you choose Hoppy Trolley, you have the option of our classic Northeast brewery tour, where we’ll take you to some of the best breweries in our favorite historic district, including 56 Brewing, Fair State Brewing Cooperative, and 612Brew, to name a few! Or you can head out of the city for our West Metro brewery tour that includes stops along the way to Excelsior Brewing, Unmapped, and Wayzata Brew Works. Or if your heart’s in Saint Paul, we offer an exclusive Saint Paul brewery tour that ventures to Tin Whiskers, Birchwood, Bull Dog, and more!

Enjoy a 3-hour public tasting tour that includes a facility tour and beer samplings at 56 Brewing. From there, you’ll visit two additional breweries for a total of 3 breweries in 3 hours.
Celebrate any special occasion with private beer tours, available 7 days a week! This option also allows you to customize your tour with stops at your favorite eateries in-between breweries.
Bring team building to a whole new level with corporate tours, available 7 days a week! This tour includes a private facility tour and the option of a beer-paired dinner with activities the whole group will enjoy!
